Arrow Puzzle Shapes
Not every board has to be a square. On this page the arrows are arranged to form a shape, so the picture slowly empties as you solve it. The rules don't change: tap an arrow, it slides the way it points, and you're done when the board is empty.
There are 12 shape boards: Heart, Star, Diamond, House, Tree, Arrow, Cat, Fish, Moon, Plus, Letter A and Ring. Each one is a 9×9 grid with the shape cut out of it, and every board can be solved. Pick a shape below; the ones you have solved get a star rating.
How shape boards play differently
A shape changes where the edges are. On a square grid, the outside is a straight line on four sides. On a shape, there are corners, notches and narrow parts, and each one can be a quick exit or a tight spot. It's worth looking at the outline before you start: thin parts often clear fast, while the thick middle is where arrows block each other.
Picking a shape
Start with a shape that looks small and simple, then move on to bigger ones. A board with lots of narrow parts tends to open up quickly; a wide, solid shape asks for more planning.

FAQ
What is a shape board?
An arrow puzzle where the arrows together form a picture or outline instead of a plain square.
Are the rules the same?
Yes. Each arrow slides in its direction, and the board is solved when every arrow is gone.
Are shape boards harder?
Not by default. Difficulty depends on how the arrows block each other, not on the outline itself.
